Bangalore is among the fastest growing cities in the world. It is virtually the tech capital of India, having the largest concentration of technology companies, technology institutes and R&D Labs, technology colleges and tech qualified personnel. It is one of the top 10 tech hot spots of the world. Bangalore is now a verb, just as Shanghai. Being ‘bangalored’ has a distinct meaning. And, Bangalore holds the same promise to India as Shanghai does to China, even if in a very Indian way.
Growth-wise, the city is exploding. A new ring-road system completed in 2003 is already bearing capacity traffic. A peripheral ring road system has been mooted. A significant number of flyovers are under construction. A Metro System is to be constructed soon, the third in India. And, the city will have a spanking new International Airport to be built by a consortium led by
Siemens.
In the last one year, Bangalore has seen the largest growth in new constructions, especially commercial space in India. India is among the places where new construction is the maximum. It would not be a fallacy to state that Bangalore has shown the fastest rate of development in the world.
Among the areas in Bangalore where growth has been significant, Bannerghatta Road is prominent. Rose Garden Apartment
on Bannerghatta Road is just 6 kms away from Diary Circle, which is the
center of the City.
